Initial Discovery Call
This is where we discuss your vision and "find your why" for wanting to record. It's a chance for us to explain our process in more detail and for you to decide if we're the right team to bring your memories to life. We also use this time to start figuring out what stories you'd like to tell.

Customized Planning
At a minimum, this step includes a 30 minute pre-interview call with the storyteller to gather essential background details, complemented by frequent shorter calls, email, or text correspondence to fine-tune every aspect of the session.

At-Home Recording Session
Using top-of-the-line audio equipment, we capture your stories with the utmost clarity. Our experienced team ensures a smooth and enjoyable recording experience, allowing the true essence of your narratives to shine through.

Editing and Delivery
Everything is compiled and delivered in your chosen format (CD, USB, or .MP4). Each piece is a testament to your life and experiences, meant to be treasured for years to come. We focus on maintaining the authenticity of your voice while ensuring a clean, high-quality listening experience.

How much is this going to cost?
Our standard recording session is priced at a flat rate of $200, which includes up to 2 hours of professional recording time. This fee covers the pre-session consultation, the recording session itself, and the post-production editing to ensure your stories are captured with the highest quality. We strive to make our services affordable while maintaining the professional standards you deserve. Additional services or extended time can be arranged to meet your needs, and we'll provide a clear, upfront cost for any extras you choose.
Can I choose the location for my recording session?
Absolutely! We can set up our recording equipment in any location that is significant to you, be it your home, a family property, or any other place where you feel comfortable sharing your stories.
Who owns the recordings?
Once the recording session is complete and the final product is delivered, you, as the client, own the recordings. Legacy Lane Studios provides you with full ownership rights, meaning you can share, copy, and use the recordings as you wish. We pride ourselves on ensuring that these personal memories and stories are yours to treasure and keep within your family for generations.If we would like to use a snippet of your recording for our social media we will always ask for your approval.
How long do I have to wait after my recording for the final edition?
The editing time can vary depending on the length and complexity of the recording. Typically, it takes about 2-3 weeks to complete the editing process. Our team works diligently to ensure every detail is captured with clarity and quality, while also maintaining the authenticity of the recording. We'll keep you updated on our progress and will work to accommodate any specific timelines you may have.
Are my recordings kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy and the confidentiality of your recordings are paramount. We handle your stories with the utmost respect and privacy. We'll even sign an NDA if you'd like.

And it all began with a year of driving the Wienermobile
From June 2022 to July 2023, my role as the driver of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile took me on an extraordinary cross-country journey. The 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels became a magnet for conversations, drawing stories from people of all walks of life. Whether they were sharing goofy, joyous tales or deeply intimate parts of their lives, there was something about the Wienermobile that encouraged openness and sharing.Listening to these diverse narratives, I was reminded of how precious and fleeting our shared experiences truly are. This realization sparked an idea: to capture and preserve the personal narratives of my own loved ones. Inspired, I envisioned creating a way to bottle up these stories in audio form, giving them the permanence they deserved, and to be told in a comfortable setting.Legacy Lane Studios was born.
